WILLIAM CARL GEARING Jr was born on July 24, 1948. He became a member of the Army while in Rochester, New York and attained the rank of SP5 (E5). On May 19, 1969 at the age of 20, Bill gave his life in the service of our country while attached to the Americale Division in Tam Ky Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam. He was killed in the same action as Jeremiah June . You can find WILLIAM GEARING honored on the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Panel 24W, Row 54. He is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
