• Will be responsible for delivery of Flame based compositing for Psyop’s high end commercial jobs
  • Will work within a team comprised of Psyop staff, freelance artists, VFX Supervisors, Designers, Artists and Producers


  • Must demonstrate a creative vision and ability to meet clients needs, constantly pushing the quality of innovation of our imagery and process
  • Will work alongside Sr, Flame Artists/Leads  to analyze various methodologies and assist in projects bids based on input from clients
  • Must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of live action, CG and compositing production methods and techniques
  • Will contribute a strong sense of Psyop aesthetics, including and not limited to composition, color and style and camerawork when applicable
  • Should be abreast of current trends and popularity in commercial/design industry


  • Must have prior experience as Flame Artist 
  • Must possess in depth knowledge and experience with Autodesks Flame compositing software
  • Previous on set supervision experience with a broad knowledge of photography and optical effects is a plus
  • Strong post production experience in one or more of the following is strongly desired; Maya, Nuke, Photoshop, After Effects


  • In depth understanding of commercial productions, from ad agency boards, to bidding, to analyzing methodologies, to assembling a team for execution of final product
  • Knowledge of conforming EDL, XML, AAF on timeline in Flame, Nuke Studio, Resolve, Premiere or equivalent
  • Must have a solid understanding of the concepts involved in VFX compositing (e.g. rotoscoping), and basic knowledge of NUKE, FLAME, SILHOUETTE, or similar
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs
  • Solid experience working with Nuke or Flame or similar software
  • Self-motivated and be able to handle stressful situations
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment and take initiative
