PIPELINE ENGINEER

Position Overview

This is a remote position that will report to the Head of Pipeline and will work closely with artists and other Pipeline Developers to create and extend scripts and toolsets. Our ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting scene files and also working with an asset manager such as ShotGrid.

What You’ll Provide

  • Troubleshoot pipeline tools and DCC scene files
  • Follow coding standards and best practices
  • Work with the Head of Pipeline to determine priorities
  • Attend meetings with artists and leads to determine long term goals
  • Meet with the Pipeline team daily to touch base on expectations for the week

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in VFX, Gaming, or similar development environment
  • Experience with Maya and Python
  • Experience with Qt/PyQT and UI design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Git and code branching
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other DCCs such as Nuke, Houdini, and Cinema4D
  • Experience working with render farms and reading application logs
  • Ability to write shell scripts
