Working with B-Reel NYC, someform had the pleasure of creating the majority of the product pack shots for the new Beats Studio Buds+ and Beats Studio Pro, as well as a demo video showcasing each unique feature of the headphones.
From refining the models and meticulously analyzing the specifics of the materials used to building complex particle systems that visualize the products’ feature sets, someform set out to produce the backbone of the campaign for an iconic product.

Defining the look of product photography is a crucial part of how a brand presents itself. someform’s focus is always on design first—finding the right visual approach for each new product before producing the final assets.
While the final deliverables included clean product photography for Beats’ online shop, the stills shown here represent a mix of finished assets and look-development material created throughout the process.

In addition to still imagery, someform created a toolkit of various animations used in combination with live action to illustrate the new features of the products. Their intention was not only to find visually compelling ways to demonstrate the feature set through particle simulations, but also to ensure that the animations aligned seamlessly with the rhythm and pacing of the live-action edit.
